Islam in America: “Talking Thru Walls”

The Interfaith Initiative of Santa Barbara County warmly invites you to a special dinner presentation and conversation about Islam in America.

We will be featuring an inspiring and heartwarming film “Talking Thru Walls”, shown recently on PBS about the construction of a Mosque in Vorhees, NJ.  This excellent film shows how interfaith dialog and partnership can help create deeper understanding, respect and appreciation of our Muslim neighbors.

This film will provide a backdrop for a conversation about how people of many faith traditions can work together to solve issues concerning discrimination, social injustice, homelessness and environment.  Several Santa Barbara faith leaders will be present to speak about their involvement and support of the ISSB Mosque project.

The Interfaith Initiative is a non-profit organization for educating and inspiring people of all faiths to work together to solve the critical issues of our times.
